Grounding Soup

Eating in harmony with the natural rhythms of the seasons is crucial for maintaining balance within our bodies. Consuming warming foods during colder seasons is beneficial for temperature regulation, digestion, sustaining energy levels, and supporting metabolism. This grounding soup, not only easy to prepare but also delightful to savor, is rich in whole foods and nutrients. It offers a grounding effect on both the body and the mind.


4-5 portions

35 minutes

  • 1 onion

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 3 carrots

  • 6 potatoes/ 1 small sweet potato

  • 1 bell pepper

  • 1-2 dl red lentils

  • 1 veggie stock

  • 7 -10 dl water

  • 1 tsp agave syrup/ honey

  • Garlic powder

  • Cayenne pepper

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Pumpkin seeds

  • 150 g Feta cheese

Chop the onion, garlic, potatoes, carrot and bell pepper into chunks.

Pan fry the onion and garlic in the pot, until thy become soft. Then add the rest of the veggies.

Add lentils, the veggie stock and water so it covers the veggies,

Let it boil/ simmer for 15-20 minutes, until all the veggies and lentils are cooked.

Mix the soup until smooth. Season the soup with honey, garlic powder, cayenne, salt and pepper. Add more water if needed.

Roast your seeds in a pan for a few minutes until they “popp”.

Crumble the feta cheese.

Serve the soup with the seeds and the feta.
