Carrot Scones

This is our signature scones, they are crazy good and so simple to make. They are not just naturally gluten free but also filled with fibers that is crucial for our microbiota and overall gut health. Our gut is called our second brain due to it's close connections to our brain and nervous system. Aswell as our hormonal balances, skin health, metabolism, muscle function, digestion, neurotransmitters and more. Therefor eating a diet to promote a healthy gut is crucial. Which is another reason to try these delicious scones!

We love to eat our scones with butter/ creme cheese/ avocado, cheese and some crispy veggies.


8-10 scones

30 minutes

  • 6 dl oatflour

  • 1 dl almond four ( you can use 7 dl oatflour)

  • 1 big/ 2 small shredded carrot

  • 2 eggs / if wanting to make them vegan switch the eggs to 1 more tbsp chia seeds and 1/2 dl more water.

  • 2 dl water

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • Top with pumpkin seeds

Blend the flours with the chia seeds, salt and baking powder in a bowl. Then shredded the carrot finely. Add the carrot to the mixture, then add the eggs and the water and blend into a batter.

Put a baking sheet on a baking tray and form the scones into scones/ buns. Top with some pumpkin seeds and sea salt.

Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes.
