Grounding Millet Porridge

Millet is a grain naturally gluten-free and a grain that we have been eating all around the world for many centuries.. Its rich in fibers and dietary fibers which is good for your glucose balance, gut health. hormone health, skin health etc. Millet is also rich in micronutrients as for example, magnesium and B- vitamins. Magnesium is an essential nutrient in our metabolism, muscle synthesis, our nervous system and more. While B-vitamins plays a major role in our energy levels, aswell as our nervous system and the production of our red blood cells. This bowl of porridge is filled with feel good ingredients to boost you inside out,

  • O,5 dl / 30 g millet grains

  • 2,5-3 dl water

  • Salt & cardamom

  • 1 banana ( half mushed, half sliced)

  • 1 free range organic egg

  • Berries

  • Natural nuts

Add the millet, water, cardamom & salt into a pot.

Let it boil, then lower the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes until it’s starts to thicken.

Mush half of the banana & prep the toppings.

When the porridge starts to thicken add the half mushed banana & the egg. Blend it generously until it’s smooth. Put it back on the heat again and let it thicken for a minute.

Now the porridge is done, serve it with the rest of the banana, berries & nuts
